Studio Three Fibre Arts offers a variety of private classes and workshops.

Weaving Courses

These courses are given as weekly lessons –usually private but occasionally as a very small group.

Introduction to Weaving on a 4 Shaft Loom

Learn how to prepare the loom for weaving, a few basic weave structures and how to plan a project. The planning and weaving of a small project is included. Expect 16-18 weeks of lessons plus homework.

Basic 4 Shaft Weave Structures

This course is set up to introduce you to the theory and practical application of most 4 shaft weave structures. It is a good foundation for a lifetime of weaving and a basis to build on for multi-shaft weaving. This course is divided into units with a small project following each one. Expect to spend 1.5 to 2 years with this course.
